Ayodele is a medical doctor with specialisation in mental health problems ( psychiatry). He works with the National Health Service as a general adult psychiatrist. He is an Health Education England Clinical Communications Skills Trainer, and enjoys supporting doctors at various stages of their career in achieving their aspirations. He is a trained mentor and coach, and is the Founder and Executive Lead of Mentor Into Medicine- a mentoring organisation that empowers college students from disadvantaged backgrounds, to achieve their dreams of studying medicine. Dr Ajayi is the Convener of the Mentor Into Medicine workshops.
Ayodele is driven by a desire to see young men and women, particularly from difficult backgrounds; fulfill their full potential in Christ. He is on the pastoral team of New Covenant Church Bermondsey, with responsibility for the youth church. He is the author of Footprints of Giants, and hosts a weekly radio show Total Health on Kent Christian Radio. Ayodele is married to Modupe, and they are blessed with two children.
