Tens of thousands of people are trapped, injured, or missing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, following the massive earthquake, the most powerful to hit the region in 200 years. Bodies were piled along devastated streets in the capital city on Wednesday morning, and basic services are non-existent. The earthquake toppled shantytowns. Pray:
- For those trapped and injured who are still awaiting help, and for the many grieving families who have lost loved ones.
- For emergency workers, relief workers, and ordinary volunteers on the scene who are trying desperately to help people.
- For chaplains to bring the comfort and hope of Jesus Christ to many hurting people.
