Don’t forget to Gift Aid it

Make sure everyone knows why you’re fundraising for us and how important it is to you. They’re bound to want to help. If you’re using sponsorship forms, make sure your sponsors tick the Gift Aid box and complete all their details. Then their donation will be worth 25% more to us. Ask your employer for support you with a donation, or even if they’ll match the amount of money you raise.

Set yourself a target

Having a target can help people understand what you want to achieve and how much progress you’re making. It’s also a great motivation for you to keep going.

Friends, Family and Work Colleagues

Match Giving
Imagine your fundraising efforts being doubled! Ask your work place or business to match your fundraising quota. This is very common and the amount raised could be as much as £1,500. There will be a predetermined amount decided by the business/company, dependent on their policy, if you don’t ask you don’t get.

Cake Sale
Buy or bake cakes and cupcakes and sell them at work, church or other suitable events and gatherings. The money raise can be donated to Liberty.
